I get a lot of algae growth, quickly. Can any of the Tank Pals help with that?
Hey Teddyswims - thanks for stopping back with another question! Love the enthusiasm for tank/fish care! While they won't prevent growth, both Clarence™ and Sandy™ act to slow the growth. Part of Clarence™ and Sandy's™ function is to reduce phosphate levels in the water. Phosphate is a key nutrient for algae so by keeping the phosphate levels in check, algae will take longer to show up. If you are having algae problems, use Tank Pals™, keep the water temperature in the desired range, and limit the amount of light your tank is exposed to. Hope this helps!
